Casa Karma is Heaven On Earth

I just returned from a week at Casa Karma Resort in Puerto Vallarta and need to share this perfect experience with you. We were 9 in our group ranging from ages 28-65 . I arranged the trip, did the inviting including my small family and friends of mine or my children. We knew this was going to be a special vacation if it was only half as nice as the website. In fact it was even nicer as the pictures do not give you the true flavor of the beautiful flow of the villa.

We were warmly greeted outside by the staff as soon as we stepped out of the car service.
And from then on it just kept getting better and better. We were given a brief tour and had drinks and appetizers while our luggage was brought to our rooms. Who could not resist freshly made guacamole, pico de gallo and cheese quesadillas. Sipping any flavor margarita, pina coladas, and daiquiris made by the houseman.

The view from the bar, infinity pool, living room, dining room takes your breath away both day and night. The rooms were beautiful all decorated differently.

I stayed in the Penthouse Suite which was three separate rooms and a private plunge pool, if you really want to go for it all. All the other rooms were lovely as well with different decorating in each and fine are and totally luxurious through out.

Only The Penthouse required walking a flight of stairs where the others could be reached by stairs or elevator.

We were pampered from day to night by the 24 hour service.

The entire staff exudes warmth and like the rest of the staff there is nothing he will not do for you. I actually felt guilty that they were working too hard doing the things we could do ourselves but they want your experience at Casa Karma to be unforgettable.

On what seemed like a cloudy day (but was not)most of my group wanted a spa afternoon so they were able to arrange that to happen at Casa Karma as if we were not relaxed enough.
It would be unfair for me to not mention those that worked behind the scenes, the maids, maintenance etc. They actually all pitch in and work together like a well oiled machine.

The chef was considered 5 star for all of us. I have been to many places but every evening he hit a home run with both presentation and taste. I took pictures of most of the dishes and the lobster bisque (specially made) was so beautiful friends at home thought is was a decorated cake as he used the tiniest bit of sour cream to make a drizzled pattern on the top. Every vegetable was perfectly cooked as was every potato or side dish. Every entrée a winner from steak to red snapper.

For breakfast every morning is a beautiful continental breakfast consisting of fresh fruit platter, homemade (or course) muffins, coffee, yogurt and granola (we requested). Also once we tried the huevos ranchero (eggs over tortillas with a very light red sauce we were all hooked.

To try to describe the view from your room or any other part of the hotel would be impossible. Every night the sunset changed about 10 times or more and just when you thought it couldn’t get better it did. Make sure you have plenty of storage on your phone for pictures. And every night was different from the last.
We were 5 min. from downtown by taxi ($5.00 or less)or you could walk on the beach (rugged) or on the streets (which would take about 15-20 minutes. There you can find anything from typical mexican gifts which you will probably want to beautiful pottery, jewelry and clothing. You can usually bargain in the markets but less in the boutiques. But you can always ask as I did.
The worst part was saying goodbye on the last day. They truly become family although they remain totally professional at all times.
Please consider Casa Karma if you are looking for a sun and fun vacation that you will never forget.
